Not dealing with bullying complaints can cause compensation payments, make good people leave, waste management time and involve legal costs.

Incidents of workplace bullying are still at a high. ACAS calculated that the financial impact of bullying-related absenteeism, from loss of turnover and productivity, is in excess of £300bn a year.

Anything that avoids these disadvantages is worth knowing.

  • this seminar – by way of a work scenario and role play – will demonstrate how to investigate and conclude a bullying-related grievance where meetings can be difficult. (Don’t worry, we won’t force you to partake);
  • the work scenario will also require the role play HR Manager to deal with the alleged perpetrator going ‘absent sick’ and claiming they are ‘disabled’.
