In memory of Sarah O’Hare
Sarah tragically passed away on 21st February 2016. She was a very valued member of our team and of the wider firm. However, she was not only our colleague – she was also a friend to many and we miss her greatly.
Sarah joined Hay & Kilner as a trainee solicitor in January 2005. During her two year training contract, Sarah spent time in a number of different units throughout the firm. At the end of her training contract we were delighted to welcome Sarah as a member of our Private Capital team specialising in Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration.
It was immediately apparent to us that Sarah was extremely gifted technically but she also showed great compassion in dealings with her clients, all of whom thought very highly of her. Sarah worked hard at developing her skills and in 2010 she was promoted to the role of Associate. Sarah had recently completed her STEP qualification and had a bright future ahead of her as a Private Client solicitor. She is missed deeply by her friends, colleagues and clients – many of whom have taken the time to contact us with warm words and thoughts about Sarah.
Sarah was a bubbly and warm person who was always smiling and kind to everyone she met. Sarah combined her role as a solicitor with that of being a wife and a mum to two beautiful girls. Our thoughts remain with them and her husband and with Sarah’s wider family.
