Clients will be asked for their preferred method of communication.If you have visual impairments you can choose how you would prefer to be contacted, for example by e-mail with electronic attachments. Clients with a hearing or speech impairment may prefer to receive communications by e-mail rather than by telephone.
If you are required to attend a court or tribunal, we will plan ahead to ensure that the premises are accessible, adequate communication facilities are available and that papers are provided in suitable formats. We will inform relevant third parties if you require correspondence in an alternative format.
Where appropriate and reasonable, we can provide translators for clients who are unable to communicate effectively in English or a British Sign Language Interpreter for those clients with profound hearing loss.
