HR key Employment Insurance


HR key is our fixed price employment law service, backed by insurance protection. It provides a solution to the headaches faced by employers of all sizes when dealing with the complexities of employment law and the ever-increasing number of "do’s and don’ts".

Employment issues are notoriously sensitive and are by their very nature urgent. HR key is designed to provide your business with instant and pragmatic advice - managing your employment law risks, and leaving you free to concentrate on other key areas of your business.

HR key is available for an annual fixed fee (which can be paid monthly or quarterly). Once you have subscribed you will receive:

Unlimited telephone advice

You will be given unlimited access to our HR key telephone advice line. Our team of experienced employment solicitors will be on hand to provide you with one to one advice whenever there’s a problem. We pride ourselves on getting to know your business and providing a practical solution which works for you.

Insurance protection

Unfortunately some claims are unavoidable and as part of our service we would defend Tribunal claims on your behalf. Our fees and Tribunal payouts would be covered by the insurance policy which forms part of HR key. Claims pursued against you are therefore already budgeted for. The policy provides generous cover of up to £100,000 per claim and up to £500,000 per year.

Annual audit

Employment law changes quickly, so it’s easy to get left behind, or worse – caught out! We will review your standard employment contracts and staff handbook once a year and make the necessary changes.

Online access to HR key documents

You will be able to access over 100 HR key documents via our website using your personal log in. These include, for example, the documents you would need to use during a disciplinary process, or when following the statutory flexible working procedure.

Regular updates

You will receive regular e-bulletins and invitations to our bi-annual employment seminars. These will keep you up to date and reinforce our “prevention is better than cure” ethos.
