Bethany Herbertson

Bethany undertakes work across a range of areas including Commercial Litigation, Professional Negligence, Contentious Probate and Intellectual Property disputes.

Bethany is chair of the firm’s CSR committee, sits on the Graduate Recruitment committee and oversees the work experience within the firm for those aged 16-18 years’ old.

Experience

• Contentious probate disputes including challenges to validity, claims under the Inheritance Act and removing executors
• Intellectual Property disputes relating to passing off, copyright infringement and trade mark registrations
• Professional negligence claims across a range of professions
• Contractual and misrepresentation claims
• Shareholder/director disputes
• Property disputes including boundary disputes, interference with rights, adverse possession and residential possession proceedings
• Commercial property disputes including lease disputes, serving notices under the 1954 Act and forfeiture claims

• Undertaking the Associate Membership Course for the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate (ACTAPS)

Outside of the office
Bethany enjoys going to the theatre, trips to the beach and pottering around the allotment she shares with her parents.
