Erica qualified in 1989 and spent 12 years working in clinical negligence as a lawyer for hospitals, NHS Trusts and NHS Resolution. During this time she dealt with a variety of cases including a birth injury claim which went to the Court of Appeal.

After taking a break from law whilst her children were young and working as a teacher of children with additional needs, she returned to law, working for claimants in all aspects of clinical negligence work. Her knowledge of the defence system is very valuable in advising her clients in their clinical negligence claims.
