John Morgan

John is a commercial property solicitor with a broad range of experience across all aspects of commercial property.

John specialises in property investment and finance, and portfolio management for investor clients, negotiating leases and lease management documents for several large property investors as well as acting for local business in connection with their lease, investment, and development requirements.

John also has substantial experience of working with local accountants and surveyors in the management of properties held by insolvent landlords and tenants and in the disposal of such properties both independently and working in teams with other specialists.

Experience

• Acting for several large portfolio owners in connection with the management, letting and disposal of their commercial and mixed use portfolios
• Acting for developers in the acquisition, financing, completion and disposal of residential and mixed use developments across the North East
• Acting for both lenders and borrowers on property backed finance transactions
• Acting for pension trustees within SIPP and SSAS structures on the purchase, sale, and letting of pension invested commercial property

Outside of the office
John is captain of a Boys Brigade company and helps to lead his local church. When time permits he also loves hillwalking (slowly) cycling (badly) and rugby (Watching. With beer.)

John qualified in 2005.
