Tom graduated from Newcastle University in 2015 with a first in English Language. He undertook a lot of legal work experience in both Leeds and in Newcastle and knew that he wanted to pursue a career in law. Tom then moved back to Leeds and completed his GDL where he was awarded a commendation, and then his LPC LLM where he got a distinction. He knew that he wanted to join a full-service firm with a strong reputation in the North East. Tom enjoyed his time in the Clinical Negligence team, and the high level of responsibility given, as well as the amount of client contact.
Tom is now in his final seat in the Private Client and Family departments, having previously enjoyed his first, second and third seats in the Clinical Negligence, Commercial Property and Family teams respectively.
Outside of work, Tom is a Bolton Wanderers fan, following them back up to the premier league and he enjoys playing cricket in the summer. He also follows Lancashire CC in the cricket (despite being from Yorkshire!).
