A highly experienced team

Our experienced team is made up of Sarah Hall, Sarah Furness and Tom Clarke. We all spend 100 % of our time advising on all aspects of employment law and can offer varying fee options including fixed fees, monthly retainers, monthly account limits or the traditional ‘pay as you go’ hourly rates. We understand clients need to budget their legal costs at all times and we can accommodate this.

How we help our clients

  • We often advise our clients on their HR strategy and become involved at the outset with any HR issues they have. Clients appreciate our “hands on” common sense approach, quick response times and the day-to-day support they can lean on in respect of matters such as disciplinary, misconduct and grievance issues, reorganisations and TUPE transfers. We can offer advice on an hourly rate, fixed fee or retainer basis including HR Key or HR Key Plus.
  • Whether you are just starting out or in need of an update, ensuring you have clear, legally compliant documentation in place is key to a smooth HR function, and to avoiding costly, time-consuming disputes. Our HR Solutions packages off a range of options at varying price points to suit your business. HR Secure offers a fixed-fee audit of the key business protection elements of your employment documentation, including confidentiality provisions and restrictive covenants.
  • We have vast experience of defending Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of employers. We pro-actively manage claims and this often leads to claims either being withdrawn or settled on a commercial basis. All members of the team carry out their own advocacy at Employment Tribunals across the UK. We offer insurance protection against tribunal claims – either sitting alongside our monthly retainer products, HR Key, HR Key Plus or stand-alone insurance.
  • We offer bespoke employment law training which is essential in ensuring managers do not make costly mistakes which impact negatively on your business. The training is interactive, offered on a fixed fee basis and covers a wide range of topics.
  • We can offer a free “HR Health check” and assist with HR Audits and the production of all employment documentation including directors service agreements, consultancy agreements and settlement agreements.
  • We provide guidance to directors in the negotiation and settlement of their compensation packages, the pursuit of tribunal claims and restrictions on their future trading activities.
