How to get to our Wallsend office
Our Wallsend offices are conveniently located in the town centre. You’ll find everything you need below to plan your visit, including directions, parking and public transport information.
By car
If you're travelling from outside Wallsend, driving is a convenient option. Use the A19, then:
-Follow signs to Station Road to visit our Station Road office.
-Take the A1058 exit and follow signs for Wallsend town centre and High Street East to get to our Town Hall office.
Where to park in Wallsend
There are several car parks in Wallsend a short walk from either office. For Station Road, we'd recommend the Forum Shopping Centre car park (NE28 8JP) or ASDA (NE28 6HH), both a few minutes' walk from the office.
The Forum Shopping Centre car park is also a good choice for our Town Hall office on High Street East. Coronation Street car park (NE28 7RH) is a two-minute walk away, and there's on-street parking nearby on Atkinson Terrace (NE28 6SS). Some of these car parks apply time limits for non-shoppers, so it's worth checking signage on arrival.
By train and metro
The nearest mainline station is Newcastle Central Station. From there, regular Metro services run to Wallsend station in around 15 minutes.
Our Station Road office is a 2–3 minute walk from Wallsend Metro station, and our Town Hall office is around 8–10 minutes' walk away.
By bus
There are plenty of buses connecting Wallsend with Newcastle city centre and the surrounding areas, including the 91, 340, 341 and 392 between Station Road and Wallsend town centre. Most services stop near Wallsend Metro station or along High Street East, making it easy to reach either office.
Accessibility
Both of our Wallsend offices are wheelchair accessible and welcome guide and assistance dogs.
